Folks in some ways we are still fighting to secure the 2/5ths. Consider the sugar coated phrases such as implicit bias, racism as a public health crisis, benign neglect, pulling ourselves up from our bootstraps, affirmative action and safety nets. All of the quantitative data confirms the less than economic imprisonment dragon net capture since the beginning. Dare I say that in some ways we might actually be only able to garner today and to secure 2/5ths if that of the life liberty and pursuit of happiness receipts.
