Consider how many compromises beginning with the 3/5ths compromise and the many attempts to ignore the humanity of people for profit and greed and for the many decades wasted that resulted in the civil war. Consider today the many compromises we continue to make while people are dying in the supermarkets, streets, clubs and schools as we continue to ignore the humanity of us all for profit and greed.
