Join Lehman College for a Black History Month event with Carlotta Walls LaNier, the youngest of the Little Rock Nine. She was 12 years old when she and the other students finally entered Central High School in Little Rock under the protection of the 101st Airborne.
This year makes 55 years since Pres. Eisenhower had to send in the 101st Airborne to provide safe passage for the Little Rock Nine to enter and desegregate Central High School.
