Clinical Research

The Value & Innovation Forum Steering Committee invites you to hear from a panel of experts as they discuss potential strategies for increasing minority patient involvement in research.

On February 1st, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm EDT, panelists will share patient, policy, and data insights in response to key topics including:

  • How can we engage minority communities in research & clinical trials?
  • How can we best educate and raise awareness within minority communities?
  • What are the barriers to participants in clinical trials? How can we help break down those barriers?
  • What is the history of shared trauma? How can we collectively understand it and move forward?

The Value & Innovation Forum Steering Committee is comprised of representatives from the following organizations:

  • Alliance of Community Health Plans,
  • Association of Black Cardiologists,
  • Caregiver Action Network,
  • National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention,
  • National Osteoporosis Foundation, and the
  • Patient Advocate Foundation.
