The University and Greater New Haven communities are invited to attend this year’s MLK Commemoration that honors the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We are pleased to announce that Majora Carter will serve as this year’s keynote speaker.
Majora Carter, Ph.D., is an urban revitalization strategy consultant and real estate developer who currently serves as the Senior Program Director for Community Regeneration at Groundswell. Majora connects Groundswell’s clean energy value chains to equitable economic development, with a focus on reparative economic development.
