Subject: The Hold UP: Weekly Resources, News, and Updates to Hold You UP

Welcome to The Hold Up, Black Infinity Collective's weekly newsletter dedicated and committed to holding our communities up. Inside you'll find resources, opportunities for support, news, updates, and information about all things BIC.
THE IMPORTANCE OF REST DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON
As a  collective, BIC is taking some much-needed time to rest, celebrate the holidays, and come back restored and ready for our next chapter in the new year. We've been humbled by the support from our community and blessed to help so many throughout 2021.

Before we head on out for the Month of December, we wanted to reflect on some of what our collective has been able to accomplish in the past few months:
  • Since the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown, the Queen Nanny Freedom Lab has provided groceries to 150 families and redistributed nearly $70,000 to community members and Mutual Aid initiatives around the state.
  • QNFL is preparing to carry out a housing relief initiative to move resources to housing insecure families as we continue to support organizing efforts through partnerships and training.

None of our Queen Nanny Lab efforts would've been possible without the support of our collective. This past year was full of tremendous progress and challenging times for all, and as we prepare to continue the fight for liberation in the new year, practice radical self-love by making time and space for rest. See you in the new year!

Much Love,
BIC
