PRE-QUALIFICATION APPLICATION
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2020 AT 3:00 PM





The Hartford School Building Committee and ARCADIS/O&G/C&R Program Management, are seeking pre-qualification applications for minority and women business enterprises (MWBEs) desiring to qualify for certain work on the construction of public school projects in Hartford which will go to bid during Spring/Summer 2021.

Application Deadline: Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:00 PM
Successful applicants will be eligible to participate in the Program for a three year period.

MWBE Requirements
  • Be at least 51% independently owned and controlled by qualified minorities or women.
  • Be a for profit business (non-profits cannot become certified) that has been operational for at least one year prior to the submittal of the application.
  • Be independent of any other business entity or entities.
  • Provide the goods and services for which it is being certified.
  • Companies that require a Professional License to perform their lines of business must be qualified by the registration of the minority or woman owner.
  • Be able to perform the Commercial Useful Function of any agreement it has undertaken.
At least 20% of the total construction cost for each of the above referenced projects has been designated for eligible and qualified MWBEs.

  • Provide a copy of your current Home Improvement Contractor License.
  • Provide a copy of your Certificate of Insurance. 
  • If applicable provide the Certificate of Adoption of Trade Name form. 
  • All contractors working on HPLF projects in homes built prior to 1978 must provide a copy of your Lead Abatement Certificate.
