I think when we consider the current dystopian delumma, we fail to incorporate and to remember sadism, witchcraft, superstition, hedonism, devil worship and more. What we refer to as europe today was a cesspool of active and organized evil belief systems for centuries. It is repressively easy to conjure up the disguise that remnants of our abandoned angels are not still manifest in our current "civilization" and yet today's global pandemic reminds us that fear and deadly rituals might still be operative.
