*Join us in the celebration of Community Healing Days 2020, October 16, 17, and 18. "Take a day," as Dr. Maya Angelou, Founding Chair of CHN's Advisory Board, said, "to heal from the lies you've been told and the ones you've told yourself." All the lies about Black people are based on one big lie: the centuries-old lie of White superiority and Black inferiority. That lie is the most powerful weapon ever formed against us. It is the root cause of the dehumanization of Black people and the devaluing of Black lives. Answer Dr. Angelou's Call to Wear Sky Blue during Community Healing Days to show our collective determination to free ourselves and our children from the lie, and to "turn the pain of the blues into the sky blue of unlimited possibilities."
