RE-opening of the NXTHVN Gallery.

Greetings NXTHVN Family, After nearly four months of distance from our friends and loved ones, we are thrilled to announce the re-opening of the NXTHVN Gallery. We welcome everyone to visit us here in Dixwell and to engage our current exhibition on view, Countermythologies, curated by our 2019 NXTHVN Curatorial Fellows—Ana Tuazon, Zalika Azim, and Riham Majeed. The exhibition includes works by Edgar Arceneaux, Firelei Báez, Jesse Chun, Bethany Collins, Sky Hopinka, Jarrett Key, Xaviera Simmons, and Tavares Strachan. Video by John Dennis For those of you who can't make it to the gallery in person, we've prepared a way for you to see the exhibition from afar in our upcoming Artists on Artists virtual series. In the first installment, NXTHVN's current Studio and Curatorial Fellows reflect on works within the Countermythologies exhibition through the lens of their own practices.
