The Connecticut Public Health Association, the SCSU School of Health and Human Services, and the Yale School of Public Health are hosting an Advocacy Training for Health Equity on Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 8:30am-4pm. This free event is open to anyone interested in becoming an advocate for public health.
Dr. Shelley Geballe (Yale) and Dr. Tekisha Everette (Health Equity Solutions) will facilitate the training, and participants will learn about health equity and how to make their voices heard on the state legislative level.
