Lonnie G. Bunch III, the fourteenth Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution and founding director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, will be in conversation with Elijah Anderson, Sterling Professor of Sociology and of African American Studies, to celebrate Secretary Bunch’s new memoir, A Fool’s Errand: Creating the National Museum of African American History and Culture in the Age of Bush, Obama, and Trump. The program will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 24, in OC Marsh Lecture Hall, located in new Yale Science Building at  260 Whitney Avenue. While the event is free, attendees need to reserve a ticket HERE
