The Tinker Lab provides the training and tools for experimentation and an introduction to the world of creating and making, an essential element of the 21st century learner.

Using the Unreal Engine, students will create their own 3D environment filled with foliage, weather, animals and more! Creative Programs Enchanted Makeovers: Sewing Heart Patches Tuesday, July 9, 6-7:30 pm Learn to sew by making an easy project for charity! We’ll be making heart patches to donate to Enchanted Makeovers, who gives them to children living in shelters to help them feel loved.   Dreamcatchers Saturday, July 13, 2-3:30 pm Legends say that a dreamcatcher can catch bad dreams and keep them away from you, while letting good dreams flow into you. Come make one to hang above your bed and give you sweet dreams.   Laser-etched Cork Coasters Thursday, July 16, 5-6 pm Cork can be easily etched with a laser cutter to make very clear designs. We’ll show you how to etch designs on cork coasters, and you can try it and take one home.   Birthday Cards with a Cricut Thursday, July 25, 4-5 pm This month is the first birthday of Ives Squared. Celebrate with us by making birthday cards with our new Cricut Maker! A Cricut is a machine that can cut and draw on a variety of materials to make cool projects. Try it by making a card and learn what else it can do.   Origami Saturday, July 27, 2-3:30 pm Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Come try it out by folding a variety of models.
