Celebrating a WIN for all Community Health Workers in Connecticut!
We had a HUGE win for Community Health Workers last night and we had to share it with you!
The full bill language of SB 859 was included in the budget, which has now passed the House and the Senate!
Additionally, HB 7424 An Act Concerning the State Budget for the Biennium Ending June Thirtieth, 2021, and Making Appropriations Therefore, and Implementing Provisions of the Budget provides funding for the Department of Public Health to process licensure and certification for several different positions including Community Health Workers.
