The members of the Elm City Freddy Fixer Parade Committee are proud to host the following special guests who will participate in the Elm City Freddy Fixer Parade on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Marching in the 1stDivision of this parade and representing the City of New Haven will be our very own Mayor Toni N. Harp.

Moreover, Fred Smith, Jr. is being recognized by Hopkin’s High School Black Alumni Network as the oldest living alum at his 55th High School Reunion on June 1, 2019. Smith, M.D.: Black Renaissance Man,” was Fred Smith, Jr.’s masters project.

Special Guests who will be positioned on the Elm City Freddy Fixer’s Parade Grandstand are represented by 15 Historically Black Colleges & University students and 5 faculty mentors who are visiting Yale University for an intensive week of workshops hosted by the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, Yale University, and generously funded by the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.
