Hey New Haven!
Join us next Saturday, February 23rd from 1-4pm at Stetson Library, 200 Dixwell Avenue in New Haven, CT for a special celebratory Black History Month edition of your favorite program 'Africa Is Me!'.
We will be joined by two amazing special guests!
Obocho Peters, a 10 year old Entrepreneur from Brooklyn, NY who offers affordable clothes and shoes to children in the community.
Ato David, MSEng, a New Haven based Chemical Engineer, husband, and father who donates his time to expose his children and children in the community to the love of science and the endless possibilities in science/engineering careers.
We will also be joined by our phenomenal dedicated staff of Artsucators including:
Ms. Hanan Hameen, MSEdL, our Founder, Director, Principal, Master Artsucator, and Facilitator, currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
Mama Iman Hameen, MSEd, our Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist and Master Educator
Baba Brian Jarawa Gray, our AAN Musical Director and Master Musician
Baba Mick Smith, our Master Drum Maker and accompanist
Mr. Earl Ali-Randall, our Dance Instructor
