CBCF to Host Swearing-In Ceremony for Largest-ever
Congressional Black Caucus
Freshmen Class of 116th Congress to include Former CBCF Intern, Lauren Underwood
 
WASHINGTON  On Thursday, January 3, 2019, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) will host a ceremonial swearing-in for current and newly-elected Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) members of the 116th Congress. Fifty-five members will take the oath of office – the largest in the CBC’s history.

The event honors the legacy of the CBC and marks the installation of its new and re-elected members. The ceremonial swearing-in is open to families and guests of the CBC members and in the past, has been attended by congressional leadership; and leading nonprofit, civic and business leaders, among many others.
