Marquita Taylor recently completed her doctoral studies at Cardinal Stritch University in her hometown of Milwaukee, WI. Obtaining a PhD in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service, her phenomenological research was focused on fostering entrepreneurship among African Americans in one of the United States’ most segregated cities.
Her research interests include; innovation and entrepreneurship among minority populations, women in leadership and the fostering of non-cognitive skills, and education equity. She is the incoming Assistant Director of Innovation & Leadership At Yale University, Center for Public Service and Social Justice.
