The New Haven Oneness Fest on The Green will be a music and meditation (yoga) festival that includes a local Yoga Guru and a short list of local deejays. New Haven, unlike other north cities is less fragmented by culture, class and identity. Yet, there is substantial room to improve collective pride and unity across local communities, residents and students as well as the professional class that visit the city every day for work and or leisure. Equally important is the need to see a community that is unified with local law enforcement and first responders. It is a fact that we all share a collective role in New Haven’s public safety and this festival seeks to raise awareness in this area. Likewise, students who attend university and college institutions share in the responsibility of building community. The New Haven Oneness Fest on The Green seeks to achieve these goals through music and mediation by creating a positive space for us all to interface/interact. Come dance to R&B, House Music, Classics, Salsa and Disco!
