RIP James Cone


 James Cone was just here last year at YDS. While I was a student at Yale Divinity School, Prof. Cone's early work had just been published. Off and on since ,the idea of Black Liberation Theology has been discussed and debated, embraced by some and debunked by others. Was Christ about the business of Black Liberation? Are christians today impediments to justice or practitioners of social class enforcing rituals? We can not longer here directly Professor Cone's voice pertaining to these matters, but if you are even just a little curious and or have an opinion about what Christ would do today Professor Cone has left a body of work for all to see for those that have eyes to see and for those that have ears to hear..
