The Prosperity Foundation's 3rd Annual Grant Give Event

The Prosperity Foundation recently announced that 22 small non-profits in the State of Connecticut are recipients of a financial award through the Annual Grant Give. These organizations were selected out of a larger pool of other non-profits who are strengthening African American communities in the areas of Education, Economics, and Health. You are invited to our third annual event for the unveiling of the 2018 Grantees as well as hear an important message addressing Black Philanthropy from our Keynote Speaker, Mrs. Bithia Carter, CEO & President of New England Blacks in Philanthropy. This event is open to the public at no cost, but registration is required.

Mrs. Bithia Carter, President, CEO, New England Blacks in Philanthropy

New England Blacks in Philanthropy is an organization that unites New England-based Black philanthropists, trustees and staff of grant making institutions to enhance philanthropy’s ability to address the needs of Black communities.
Bithia Carter sets the vision and course for our work in changing the landscape of philanthropy for diversity, equity and inclusion and the best use of economic resources in our communities. 

ABOUT THE PROSPERITY FOUNDATION

The Prosperity Foundation (TPF) is a community foundation designed to strengthen Connecticut’s Black communities in critical areas such as health, education, and economic development. TPF is a permanent and endowed vehicle for addressing the Black community's needs, and bringing the community together around common interests. Through TPF, philanthropy is a path to grant making for organizations serving the community and a portal through which Connecticut’s Black community and other interested parties can connect and collectively contribute to improving conditions and opportunities for the community.
