On April 26, 2018, EJI will open The National Memorial for Peace and Justice and The Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration

On April 26, 2018, EJI will open The National Memorial for Peace and Justice and The Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass Incarceration in Montgomery, Alabama. To commemorate this event, EJI will host two days of talks and conversation at the Peace and Justice Summit and Opening Ceremony. The Summit will present an exciting array of national leaders and advocates including Marian Wright Edelman, Michelle Alexander, Gloria Steinem, Ava DuVernay, Rev. William Barber, Vice President Al Gore, Sherrilyn Ifill, The Roots, and many others. 

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Thursday April 26 and will feature musical performances and remarks from other national leaders. Only a limited number of tickets are available for these special events, so please make sure to reserveyours soon! We do hope you join us for this momentous occasion in Alabama.
