ALL OUT FOR MUMIA, MARCH 23-27:

ALL OUT FOR MUMIA, MARCH 23-27:
Shot, beaten by cops, and framed for the death of a Philadelphia cop 36 years ago,  Mumia Abu-Jamal has always maintained his innocence.  In fact, there is ample evidence that his conviction was riddled with prosecutorial misconduct and judicial prejudice.  Now, there is a legal avenue that could potentially overturn his conviction and win his release.
Mumia is in ill health due to cirrhosis of the liver, causing unrelenting itching on most of his body, loss of weight, swollen ankles and other symptoms. His steadily decreasing health will eventually threaten his life. It is more urgent than ever that he finally be freed after 36 years in prison.
Sign the Petition:  After an International Letter for Mumia drew hundreds of signatures from around the world, a coalition of Mumia support organizations have created a new petition calling for the District Attorney to release all DA & police files on Mumia to the public and to release Mumia because he’s factually innocent. https://mobilization4mumia.com/actions/
Make a donation at https://mobilization4mumia.com/donate/ to help cover costs of local support work for Mumia as well as contributions to his prison commissary account to cover the cost of daily Vaseline treatments for his itching.
