Hamden, Connecticut – Feb. 14, 2018 – A panel discussion about the new movie, “Black Panther,” will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the Clarice L. Buckman Theater at Quinnipiac University, 275 Mount Carmel Ave. This program is free and open to the public.
Titled “Blackness, Heroism and the American Imagination: Can ‘Black Panther’ Expand the Marvel Universe?” the panel will feature Phillip Cunningham, assistant professor of media studies at Quinnipiac, Nicholas Robinette, associate professor of English at Quinnipiac, and Siobhan Carter-David, assistant professor of history at Southern Connecticut State University.
