Art Reception to Follow Featuring Actor, Activist Tenisi Davis

WHO:                   Mayor Joseph Ganim, Unsung African American Heroes from Bridgeport, Tenisi Davis, University of Bridgeport members of The Sophisticated Love of the Artistic Mind Club (SLAM), Vendors: Vetiveah Harrison and Gale Clay selling crafts and art, Black History Committee, City Council and Community Members

WHAT:                 Mayor Ganim and the City of Bridgeport will 12 honor unsung African American heroes from the Bridgeport community for Black History Month. Spoken Word and musical selections performed by students at the University of Bridgeport. Local artisans will also feature and sell their goods, crafts and artwork. More events to follow every Thursday in the month of February.
