The Koskoff Symposium, the Life and Legacy of Thurgood Marshall was held at the School of Law Quinnipiac University, last week. Consider the irony as we celebrate the annual activity of giving thanks that the native peoples no longer possess their land where the law school sits. We need Thurgood Marshall's today more than ever before. Laws were not in effect to protect the loss of culture, family and clan many moons ago. But we are here.
