Friday, September 22nd , I will be a panelist and supporting the The Annual Global Emotional Emancipation Summit℠. I will be sharing information about my upcoming book Urban Trauma: A Legacy of Racism and it's effect on our community.
Urban Trauma has always lived along side of us. Urban Trauma desired or not has become our friend and our foe. We have survived the worst of inhumane treatment, traumatized beyond words and have turned our struggle into triumph. Living in our truth is our reality, and we have never seen ourselves as traumatized, instead our circumstances have fueled the idea that despite adversity we will change our circumstances, break cycles, and do better so future generations can be better. And guess what there are many, many of us who have accomplished this successfully.
