Join our EE Circles family! Are you a compassionate member of our community, skilled in group facilitation, with a passion for and a willingness to commit time to working for the psychological healing and liberation of Black people? Then our community urgently needs you! CHN invites you to join us for the Third Annual Valuing Black Lives Global Summit and the first international Emotional Emancipation (EE) Circles Training of Facilitators on September 22,23, and 24, 2017, in Washington, D.C., led by the inimitable Dr. Cheryl Tawede Grills.
EE Circles are evidence-informed, psychologically sound, and culturally grounded support groups, designed by Community Healing Network in collaboration with the Association of Black Psychologists, to help Black people heal from the historic and continuing trauma caused by racism.
Our aim is to equip intergenerational groups of EE Circle facilitators to go back to their communities t(with our ongoing support and guidance) to help build a powerful movement for the emotional emancipation, healing, wellness, and empowerment of Black people by August 2019, the 400th anniversary of the forced arrival of Africans in the colony of Virginia.
Are you interested in bringing an intergenerational team from your community to the Valuing Black Lives Summit and the EE Circles training, please contact us at info@communityhealingnet.org and register here:
