Storytelling Project
Have you or anyone you know experienced incarceration in Connecticut? Are you interested in telling your story? We are interested in documenting stories from our communities about how incarceration impacts one’s life, before, during and following release. Tell us about the sentencing, incarceration, community supervision, the challenges faced transitioning home and all the fears, trauma and anxieties associated with it. How has this experience altered your life and that of your loved ones? The purpose of this storytelling venture is to hopefully provide a space for talking about one’s experience and to eventually produce a documentary portraying the voices of those who can play a major role in humanizing criminal justice.
The project has begun and will end on July 31,2017. Interviewers are seeking people who want to tell their story. Interview will take approximately one hour. If interested please email Barbara Fair at justicepeace75@hotmail.com.
