Gunfighter Nation | Moyers & Company |

The great american pastime is baseball . This comment is not designed to disparage in any way the incident this morning but it is helpful in my opinion to remind ourselves, that Sandy Hook and violence being as american as cherry pie continues to have relevance. America might not be solely a gunfighter nation but the academic work of Richard Slotkin shines bright light on the continuing dark side of our cultural DNA. Perhaps we need to think again about what is our great american pastime? Athena Wagner Robert Gibson Kiplyn Primus Charles Wyatt Jr. Larry M Stewart
