Due Justice Coalition at the Capitol

Tom can you spread the word about our DueJustice coalition action at the capitol on Monday for us? Thank you for putting your name to the attached letter calling for a Moral Budget to be passed in Connecticut. We are now asking clergy leaders, labor, and other Duejustice members who have sign anti-austerity resolutions, and others who oppose this austerity budget to join us on Monday. If your name is not on this list, and you would like to join on, please let me know. All you need to do is email me your name, congregation and town. We are also issuing a clerical call of action of the faithful, the just and people for a moral budget. We are calling on all CT Clergy and our DueJustice allies to join us in the momentous event: Monday, June 5th 3PM Gathering CT Education Association Room 1 A 21 Oak Street, Hartford CT We will have a briefing of clergy and faith leaders about the planned action. We will then head over to the Capitol Building (at 4PM) where will raise our voices, our prayers and our call for a Moral Budget- and we will personally deliver this letter, and this message to the Governor and the members of the General Assembly. Please let us know if you can join us, and we encourage you to invite your colleagues and other leaders of faith. In Faith and Justice, The DUE Justice Clergy/Faith Team
