Knickerbocker Golf Club, Inc. presents their 1st Annual 2017 Pioneer and Trailblazer Appreciation Award Ceremony. 

 Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm. 

Honorees will be Knickerbocker Golf Club Members (Past/Present), Yale New Haven Hospital President along with their Community Relations Department Kyle Ballou, New Haven Fire Birds and others.  

Our theme for the evening is “Let the Work You Have Done Speak for You.”

Appetizers, Dinner, Desert and a Champagne Toast will be provided.

Just a short history on the Knickerbocker Golf Club Inc.:

The Knickerbocker Golf Club, Inc. is one of the oldest African American amateur golf social 501(c) 4 non-profit clubs in the United States. Founded in 1944 and located in New Haven, Connecticut.  Our clubhouse is a historical landmark, recognized by the Connecticut State Preservation Board and the National Register of Historic Places and continues to be a center for golf, social, and recreational activities for its members and the community.

We are currently in the process of a Capital Fund Raiser seeking funding for renovations (i.e. roof/handicapped entrance and book scholarships).

The Knickerbocker Golf Club, Inc. has been promoting the game of golf through club sponsored golf, social, and community events and programs for over 70 years. We are focused on involving the community to be more involved in the game of golf and we welcome all those who share our core values to join us to improve life through the game of golf without regard to social economic status, ethnic origin, gender, or ability.
