Hello tom --
It’s no secret that I think Donald Trump makes a terrible president and brings a whole new level of bully to the “bully pulpit.” The country is more divided than ever- but there is one issue that continues to bring us all together: the opioid epidemic. 
91 people die each day from opioid overdose, destroying families and communities. On this issue, I’m standing with Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Congressman Patrick Kennedythrough Advocates for Opioid Recovery.

We call on President Trump to work with Congress and find policy solutions that make treatment more accessible. He should treat addiction as a public health issue, not a crime. People need treatment, not incarceration. Trump should find federal funding to make treatment available for everyone.
