A call of action to support Black students in New Haven
The New Haven Board of Education is seeking African American undergraduate and graduate students who are willing to spend time with at-risk children in their classrooms. Volunteers are needed to assist with classroom climate and provide academic support at Brennan Rogers New Haven Public School.
This is an urgent request on behalf of the Youth Development Coordinator, Donald McAulay Jr. He is specifically seeking Black college and university students to mentor/tutor, and promote academic excellence for Black elementary and middle school students. Please contact Mr. McAulay directly via email. |
