Public Education Forum - Follow-Up
Greetings All,
I am writing to you with great appreciation for your participation at and/or interest in the Community Dialogue on Public Education held here at ConnCAT. The dialogue was rich and purposeful, yet not without need of follow through.
Please accept this OPEN INVITATION to continue the work of influencing the impacts of public education. Attendance at the January 15, 2017 event is not a prerequisite to be at the table. All stakeholders in public education are welcome to be a part of shaping next steps. During our time we will synthesize notes from the MLK event into actionable steps and identify voices that were not at the table.
WHAT: Continuation of the work around public education
o Further synthesize notes from small groups into:
§ Actionable steps
§ Defining questions
o Identify voices that were not at the table
§ Develop a targeted approach to include those voices

WHY: Because dialogue is a beginning, NOT a means unto itself!
