African-American oil barons, funerals, and sporting events, along with Jones's travels across the United States, Europe, Palestine, and Egypt. 29 of these films are part of the Yale Collection of Western Americana and can be viewed on the Beinecke's website, while nine additional Jones films are in the collection of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture.
