MAYOR HARP, CITY OFFICIALS, & OTHERS WILL ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR HOPEFEST 2016
New Haven – Mayor Toni N. Harp was joined by Clifton Graves of the city’s Project Fresh Start, Earl Bloodworth of the Warren Kimbro Reentry Program, and co-chairs of the faith-based Reentry Network, Angela Russell and Esau Green, to announce plans for Hopefest 2016, set to be held Saturday, October 1 at Scantlebury Park.
Hopefest 2016 is a festival meant to connect previously incarcerated men and women – and their families – with programs, services, and resources they might need to complete a smooth re-entry into the community. Hopefest 2016 is co-sponsored by the City of New Haven, Project Fresh Start, and New Haven’s Reentry Network.
