The Connecticut Health Foundation's Fellow's Leadership Retreat was more than just taking a walk in the woods. It was most certainly about walking together and forging paths amongst and amidst more imposing and "taller" entities. It was about creating tools to cut things down to size for everyone so that hurdles will not be tantamount to scaling olympic heights for some and play ground designed nurturing escapades for others. The fun of the human experience must not continue to be systematically sprinkled with health delivery system disproportionate handicaps for some and luxury on and off ramps and idyllic retreats for others.
