Muhammad Ali Documentary At Criterion - Hartford Courant:
In honor of Muhammad Ali, the legendary boxing champ who died June 3, Criterion Cinemas in New Haven is bringing back a 2013 documentary about him for a weeklong run.
"The Trials of Muhammad Ali" tells the story of Ali's refusal to submit to the draft during the Vietnam War and the legal battle that followed, which went all the way to the Supreme Court.
The movie will be shown June 10 to 16, at 12:10 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. each day. Criterion Cinemas is at 86 Temple St., at the corner of George Street. bowtiecinemas.com.
