Change in time and location of Mrs. Elsie Watson Cofield's services.
Mrs. Cofield has been given the distinguished honor of lying in repose at New Haven's City Hall, before Saturday's Funeral. A public, community viewing of Mrs. Cofield's body will take place Friday, March 25th (Good Friday) from 4 to 7pm; on the 2nd floor Rotunda of City Hall. The Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, of which Mrs. Cofield was a proud and longtime member will conduct an Omega ceremony at 4 pm during the wake at City Hall.
Mrs. Cofield's funeral services will be held on the following day, Saturday, March 26th from 9 am to 1 pm at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church 1324 Chapel Street, New Haven, with a viewing from 9am to 10am. We look forward to seeing all of you as we pay tribute and our respects to a true servant leader and angel on earth. Peace, love & blessings.
