It was good to see fellow CT Health Foundation Leadership Fellows, Damian, Jenn and Frank at the recent AHEC 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting.
Prior to 2011, I thought I knew a little about health disparities and radically different treatment.
However, the 9-month fellowship really opened my eyes and I have been trying to stay awake ever since?
I am grateful for the 2011 experience and in 2016 one can debate where and how some things are getting better or worse.
But there is no debate that the body politic, the soul politic and the physical politic can always be improved.
Hat's off and inspired affirmations to everyone reading this, as we move along our individual and collective journeys.
Let's us create more cohesion and less chaos, more co-creation and less mutual destruction, more joy and jubilation and less tragedy.
Whether at work, at play, at your respective house of worship or sitting before your TV shrine and regardless of who will vote for in November we can all influence someone and even ourselves to practice more love and compassion.
I vote for that and hope that you do to.
