Yale Presidential Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion

In his November 17, 2015 message to students, faculty, staff, and alumni, Yale President Peter Salovey announced plans to create a task force that would consider projects and policies related to diversity and inclusion. In a February 3, 2016 letter to the Yale community, President Salovey announced the formation of the Presidential Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion, which he will chair.

In his February 3rd letter, President Salovey expressed appreciation for the outpouring of ideas and perspectives shared by the Yale community, on campus and beyond. The task force has begun its work considering these and future proposals, and will advise university leadership on those proposals that "hold the most promise to advance the goal of full inclusion on our campus.”
