Supreme Court Vacancy: Putting the Pressure on Key Republican Senate Targets at Home

petition delivery
PFAW and our members have wasted no time in stepping up to confront the GOP’s unprecedented preemptive blockade on any Supreme Court nominee.
We’re pressuring Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, who is up for reelection this year, with robo-calls from actor Martin Sheen now going to voters in that state. We’re planning similar outreach efforts in other key target states. We already have staff on the ground in Wisconsin and New Hampshire, where we’re planning events to keep pressure on target Senators Johnson and Kelly Ayotte.
We joined allies to deliver more than 500,000 combined petition signatures calling for fair consideration of a nominee to Mitch McConnell’s home office in Louisville, KY and then, just days later, teamed up to deliver more than a million signatures to Capitol Hill.
And on Thursday, hundreds of PFAW members joined us for a telebriefing on all of this activity and more.
