The National Black Golf & Jazz Pioneers Tournament and Achievement Awards is presented to you by Glennon Bazzle, aka “The King of Swing,” a prominent motivational speaker, golf trainer and health & wellness guru with over 45-years of experience in the golf industry.  The program is held in recognition ofNational Black Golf Month (April) and Jazz Appreciation Month (April).
Glennon Bazzle-1Glennon’s vision has created an open platform for aficionados of golf, jazz and community goodwill to come together in a relaxed atmosphere, to enjoy mutually pursued interests, share and explore industry challenges and opportunities, while celebrating professional achievements.
Now in its 5th year, his awards program is the only one of its kind.  Over the years it has  attracted some of the most notable musical guests in America, and, has helped to sustain the legacy of an era when jazz was king.
Glennon is also author of Anatomy of the Perfect Golf Swing, this renowned training book has helped thousands of new and avid golfers hone their skills and correct their swings.  The book is available in English, Spanish and Japanese.
Glennon is Founder and CEO of Global Golf Institute, LLC., (GGI) originally based in New Orleans, LA, but following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, is now based in Birmingham, AL.  The Institute provides exceptional golf instruction, teaching certification and personalized golf services to promote golfers’ health and well-being and the love of the game around the world.
Since 2012, Glennon has directed the New Orleans Musicians Celebrity Golf Classic (NOMCGC), a 3-day, fun-filled program known for ‘Bridging Generations in Music and Making Connections in Golf’, the slogan:  ‘Young Cats Swinging for Old Lions and benefiting New Cubs.’”
The annual NOMCGC event draws a star-filled roster of ‘who’s who’ from across the music world including legends, Grammy award winners and sophisticates of all ages and backgrounds for a spectacular tournament and networking.  And, of course, great New Orleans music and food are always a part of the festivities.

The Ashé  Cultural Arts Center is an initiative of Efforts of Grace, Inc., a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that creates and supports programs, activities, and creative works emphasizing the contributions of people of African descent. Our mission is to use art and culture to support human, community and economic development. Located in Central City, the Center provides opportunities for art presentations, community development, artist support, and the creation of partnerships that amplify outreach and support efforts.
During post-hurricane Katrina recovery, we have acted as a community based center for the activities of ReBuild New Orleans, and have taken a leadership role in implementing the strategy to repopulate the Central City neighborhood with its former residents and new like-minded neighbors.
Further, the Center boasts a repertoire of original theater works that are available for touring, and provide sponsorship for many private, public, community-focused, and family oriented events.
