Just this morning, I joined the featured artist for this coming Forum on Tom Ficklin's radio show to talk about our dissatisfaction with the dis-eased state that we see all around us, and our deep yearning for the beloved community that we know is possible. Both the dissatisfaction and the faith in this possibility pull us forward into activating root-level change! CEIO has pulled together a fantastic line up of dedicated New Haven area artists to rattle these roots and activate a vision of justice! From the spoken word to the visual arts, this showcase will feed your soul, challenge your limits and provide you with tools to access, create and use art for social justice

Featured Artists: Aaron Jafferis...known by most of you as an amazing hip-hop poet, playwriter and actor. Lara Herscovitch, activating justice through her songwriting and singing. Jason Dorsey, A.K.A. J-Sun shakes it up with poetry and youth activismand New Haven's Hanifa Washington brings a multitude of artistic gift as well as working with the Forum Theatre process to interrupt the injustice while building up community.
