Riverwood Poetry Something to Say: Poets and Conversations on Topics that Challenge

Riverwood Poetry:

This month Riverwood Poetry Series presents a free writing workshop, "Confronting Iniquity with Our Poetry," with renowned Connecticut poet John Stanizzi.  This craft workshop will explore the challenge of writing poetry sourced from the world around us, drawing from both current events and the record of the past.

Note that the workshop will start promptly at 6:30 PM.

Free of charge; as always, donations gratefully accepted.

Thurs, January 21st, 6:30-9 pm,

Asylum Hill Congregational Church,
814 Asylum Ave, Hartford

This reading is part of our 2015-2016 Riverwood season of poetry on issues of societal concern and social justice:
Something to Say: Poets & Conversation of Topics that Challenge
