Increase your knowledge on diabetes,  to decrease the risk!  

During this event, St. Francis Hospital will offer a risk assessment to see if you are at an increased risk for diabetes. There will be tips for healthy eating to control blood sugar.  Tips on blood glucose monitoring and ways to stay healthy while living with diabetes. 

 

Additional diabetes education and services will include:

AIC Testing  
Foot Care & Exam
Eye Care & Exam
Mindfulness Therapy 
Session on the symptoms and treatment for Pancreatitis 
Local Pharmacists - “Brown Bag” session to check and talk about medications.
American Diabetes Association – Representatives will be on hand to share available resources and materials.
