Hartford Foundation for Public Giving :: Black Giving Circle Fund

Hartford Foundation for Public Giving :: Black Giving Circle Fund: "As a result of the many passionate discussions on the power of Black philanthropy, and the desire to harness that power into positive impact for our region, the Black Giving Circle Fund was established at the Hartford Foundation on June 1, 2015. Through this giving circle, members are able to pool their financial contributions, learn together about a topic of interest or concern, and then collectively decide on a grantmaking recommendation to support meaningful and lasting solutions. As an endowed fund, the building of the fund’s assets are critical to achieving its mission: To create sustainable change in the Black community by leveraging philanthropic efforts of donors and celebrating Black philanthropy.   We invite you to become a Charter Member, a unique designation given to those who become members in 2015, this first year of the establishment of the giving circle."
