Yoga Wisdom
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19th   10 - 4:00 pm
Yoga is far more than a series of postures to help improve flexibility and ready the body for meditation. At the deeper levels yoga is a path for mastering the mind and realizing the Spiritual Self. Drawing from the classic teachings on yoga, the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali, this workshop teaches participants five ways to master their minds through Correct Knowledge, Overcoming Illusion, Working Through Emotional Turmoil, the Yoga of Sleep, and Staying in the Present Moment. We will also discuss the nature of samadhi that is reached during deep meditation practice. Led by Dr. Lisa Love. $65
Journey to Oneness
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11th  7 - 8:30 pm
Dr. Ravi Ravidraand Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee are featured in this Global Spirit viewing to explore how beneath the seeming differences that separate the world's religions lies spiritual teachings that point in the direction of Oneness as we achieve a state often referred to in many spiritual traditions as "Unity Consciousness." During and after the viewing time for discussion is allowed so we can explore what we are learning in more depth. A $10 donation is asked to pay back the cost of viewing rights.
Interspiritual Dialogue
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20th   7 - 8:30 pm
For over 25 years Father Thomas Keating has held the Snowmass Inter-spiritual Conference that offers committed spiritual seekers from many faiths to come together and identify the core truths that lie at the heart of all the world's religions. Now, for the first time ever through this Global Spirit viewing we are given an opportunity to witness part of the conference on the large screen at the Center for the Peaceful Self. During and after the viewing we will have time for discussion to explore what we are learning in more depth. A $10 donation is asked to pay back the cost of viewing rights.
