Three curators will discuss their work, across a range of institutional contexts, with the art of the African diaspora: Tia Powell Harris (Executive Director, Weeksville Heritage Center), Amanda Hunt (Assistant Curator, Studio Museum in Harlem), Isissa Komada¬ John, (Exhibitions Manager, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture). This event will be introduced by Professor Kobena Mercer and moderated by Professor Erica James.
